I graduated magna cum laude with a BA and a BS from Southern Connecticut
State University and received certification to teach elementary and secondary education. I have written several novels and
have volunteered to teach literacy and grammar to adults. While networking with other writers, I discovered a love for editing;
as a result, I began to provide freelance editing to authors. Since establishing Fine Tune Editing in 2007, I have helped
several published authors to develop their query letters and polish their novels.
Over my years spent teaching, writing, and editing, I have developed a love for the English language and respect
for the written word. True writing is not a mere skill; it is a craft and an art, as creative and personal as music or painting,
with a beauty all its own. Staring at a blank screen and creating something from nothing takes talent and courage. I established
this business because I want to help people become better writers. I've met writers who have brilliant ideas, who can tell
incredible stories, but who lack the finesse needed to turn their drafts into polished, professional pieces of work. I help
these people to hone their craft and cultivate their art. I take their ideas and make them shine.
